BRE Innovation Park wins prestigious award
The Edie Awards for Environmental Excellence were handed out at a glitzy ceremony in London’s exclusive Hurlingham Club last night and BRE was the proud recipient of the ‘Best Sustainable Construction Project’ for its pioneering Innovation Park in Watford.
Judges for the Environmental Excellence Awards, which recognise projects and consultants that are setting the standard for sustainability described the BRE Innovation Park as 'mind-blowing' and ‘a glimpse of the future today'.
BRE’s Innovation Park Director Jaya Skandamoorthy who accepted the award in London last night said ’This award recognises the tremendous efforts of our build partners and the 300 plus companies who’ve contributed to the projects on the Park – we are delighted to accept it.’
RSA accreditation of the awards gives winners the chance to go through and enter the coveted European Business Awards for the Environment, fighting it out with the best of the continent’s eco projects.
