Thinking of Becoming a Renewables Energy Installer?
BRE and Business Link are holding a one-day seminar on the 18th November that provides an overview of the business, financial and technical considerations involved in setting up a renewable energy installation business.
The event will take place at the BRE Innovation Park in Watford during Global Entrepreneurship Week UK, a worldwide movement aimed at stimulating enterprise. It is aimed at those considering setting up their own renewable energy installation business, or expanding an existing business.Steve Pester one of BRE's leading Renewable Energy experts who will present at the event says ‘There has never been a better time to explore the opportunity of becoming a renewable energy installer. As well as several renewable energy grants schemes, Government is introducing new incentives for organisations and private individuals to install renewable energy equipment in buildings. This will be via a feed-in-tariff whereby owners will be paid for energy they produce. This will have a huge impact on the take up of the technologies in the community and will accelerate the growth of the installer market.'
The seminar will focus on the domestic and small business scale systems, providing an introduction to each of the technologies. It will also give delegates the tools and information to take the next steps in setting up a business in this rapidly expanding market sector.
