Victory for BRE in supporting Nelson's flagship

Following on from its seven year contribution to a £1.5m project to ensure a longterm future for Nelson’s flagship the HMS Victory, BRE will continue to support the national asset alongside the newly appointed contractor BAE Systems for the next 10 years.

BRE Timber Director Ed Suttie, who manages the work said ’We are proud of our contribution to this remarkable part of our heritage. Our continued involvement is testament to our unique and specialist offering here at BRE, drawing on our diverse skills in timber, geotechnics, structural engineering, lighting, fire safety and risk management’ 

For the next decade BRE will monitor movement in the structure and provide technical support when required on the project.
