BRE Trust and Worshipful Company of Constructors seek young talent for international research award
£7k study opportunity for industry rising star
BRE Trust, in collaboration with the Worshipful Company of Constructors (WCC), are offering an exciting research opportunity for a talented young industry professional. They are seeking an enthusiastic individual to undertake a funded study in a key area of the industry relating to construction, planning, systems and processes or a market study in a country of their choice.
The Royal Charter International Research Award is a new initiative to inspire young constructors and encourage the development and application of their knowledge in a topical or burgeoning industry area. The award is open to applicants aged 21-30 and the winner will receive £7,000 towards the cost of their study as well as a chance to publish their work via the BRE Bookshop and in the Constructors Journal.
Application forms must be submitted to Dolores Kelly (kellydm@bre.co.uk) by 10 December 2012. The award recipient will be announced in December and presented with the award at the Worshipful Company of Constructors awards dinner in February 2013.
