BIM Process Review

As an alternative to Business Certification BRE offer a BIM Process Review (BPR) to aid Clients and their supply chain address capability and improve their project processes. Whilst Certification will review business capability the BPR looks at the effective use of the BIM process and how this can be improved specifically looking at projects and the teams involved.

A detailed questionnaire is reviewed with the appointed representatives to look at how the business works, meet clients requirments, respond to work sectors and deliverable requirments. An appraisal of the project IT, CAD, BIM systems proposals is then carried out discussing all aspects of hardware, software, staff training, CAD Standards, workflow, deployment and technical support.

From the appraisal, areas of challenge can be established and areas where productivity can be enhanced will be identified. These will be reviewed and the relevant services, training and support areas will be highlighted.

We will then develop the second part of the BPR which forms the basis of a briefing document. From the appraisal, areas of challenge can be established and areas where productivity can be enhanced will be identified. These will be reviewed and the relevant services, training and support areas will be highlighted.

BIM Process Review Recommendations

From the BIM Process Review your dedicated consultant will provide a set of recommendations and schedule tasks for short and long term objectives. Typically these will include software requirements, training recommendations, consultancy requirements etc... aimed at developing standards, implementation and creating a deployment that will aid your business requirements. Time and cost proposals can then be evaluated and provided matching the initial BPR requirements before developing a detailed scope of the works for that sector.
