Managing and reducing the consumption of Energy to save money

Managing and reducing the consumption of energy saves money. Energy is an unavoidable overhead. It is a key business resource requiring effective, professional management.

The Energy Management course at BRE on 27-28 September will demonstrate how to put in place a structured approach to energy management in an organisation. It will provide the technical skills to reduce energy costs, prioritise areas for improvement and understand how legislation (including the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme) affects operational procedures.

A second training course Energy Management System BS EN 16001 on 29-30 September will provide a systematic and practical approach to energy management systems in accordance with BS EN 16001, which was launched recently to help organisations implement an organisation wide energy management plan and establish the systems and processes needed to improve energy efficiency.
