Ravenscraig Innovation Park Tour
BRE Visitor Centre @Ravenscraig
The BRE Innovation Park@Ravenscraig is the world's first purpose-built Innovation Park. The site of the former steelworks in Ravenscraig, Lanarkshire has been developed to demonstrate the latest thinking in sustainable development, high performance buildings and new technologies. The Park features a visitor centre and 9 plots on which demonstration buildings will be developed to showcase Innovation from Scotland and beyond.
The Innovation Park is open for technical tours around the buildings and the sustainable features of the park itself. These will provide insight into the development of the park and the buildings in relation to the sustainable targets set by the European Parliament and the Scottish Government.
The tours generally begin at 10.00am with registration at 9.30am. They can last between two and three hours but can also be tailored to match the available time for a group of delegates.
There is no set programme for the tours which will vary depending on weather conditions and construction activity on the park on the day of the tour.
