The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive is a key driver to delivery of energy efficient buildings. In Scotland the Climate Change (Scotland) Act will see delivery of this Directive through the regulatory framework that will result in mandatory upgrading of building fabric and systems for existing buildings and more stringent carbon emission reductions on new build. This framework is creating the need for greater transparency and certainty over energy performance in buildings.

At BRE Scotland our energy team have expertise to help ensure our clients receive the right advice on creating the optimal energy performance on their projects whether during project brief development, design, construction or operational phases. This is achieved by delivery of the following services:

  1. Simulation and Thermal modelling
  2. Surveying and Monitoring
  3. Practical Fabric Testing
