Details :

BREEAM International 2013 assessor training is entering and new and exciting era. Our goal is to deliver high calibre, informative and engaging content that will develop delegates into knowledgeable and capable BREEAM professionals. BREEAM International delegates will be immersed into blended online learning delivered through online workshops, interactive discussions, classroom engagement and finally examinations for certification. They will emerge from the successful completion of this process as fully qualified BREEAM International assessors, and new members of the BREEAM family.

This scheme uses calculation tools which run in MS Excel with macros. Macintosh computers are unable to use this function and you will need access to a PC to complete assessments.

Online learning

BREEAM International assessor training commences with a period of interactive online modules delivered through our dedicated online learning portal. Delegates will be led on a journey into BREEAM by way of interactive content and technical presentations which will gradually build their knowledge and confidence within the BREEAM International 2013 scheme. Delegates participate in 40 hours of online learning before attending classroom training, there will be online support to help delegates complete the modules. The distance learning elements of the training course are designed for delegates to complete at their own pace, each module concludes with an automated quiz to allow learners to track their own progress throughout the course.

Fully supported by a dedicated tutor for each module, training is delivered by leading BRE technical trainers.

2.5 day classroom based learning

Both exams are fully open book, allowing delegates to refer to any notes or documentation they feel may assist them.  Assessors will need to pass both examinations to become qualified within the scheme. Please note that you must present acceptable photo identification (ID) for admission to the examination. This may be either your passport, driving licence or EU ID card. Please note that without photo ID you will not be permitted to undertake the examinations.

Failure to prepare fully for the examinations by completing the online learning prior to the classroom course will mean that delegates are high unlikely to pass.  Therefore, they will have to resit the examinations at their own expense.
