Meeting the Retrofit Challenge - This event has already finished

16 November 2017
BRE Innovation Park at Ravenscraig

for Scotland's homes, building and infrastructure

Details :

By 2050, 80% of all homes and buildings that will be in use already exist today.  Meanwhile, if we have met all of Scotland's climate change commitments, all buildings will meet the 'nearly zero carbon' standard.  What do we need to do differently to make this a reaility?  What new design and construction practices, emerging technologies and approaches to standards, skill and regulations will need to achieve a resilient, high performing built environment for Scotland?

BRE Scotland is holding this conference to celebrate 20 years of the BRE Trust.  The event will address the critical issue of retrofit and maintenance of our built assets with delegates invited to participate in an interactive event that will aim to set out key steps for the country over the next 20 years.
