IET Engineering Open House Day - This event has already finished

Do you enjoy science at school and want to find out more about a career in engineering? This event is part of a national initiative by the Institute of Engineering & Technology which aims to give children and their parents an insight into what it’s like to be an engineer and the important roles engineers play in everyday life. At this event you can meet some of BRE's engineers and find out why they love what they do and see our unique and unusual facilities.

Have you ever wondered about the range of creative and important careers that are available to engineers today? You might be surprised by what we have to show you as we explore houses of the future and laboratories of all shapes and sizes.

Intended audience

Aimed at children in the final years of primary school (age 9-12) but suitable to all children of school age.

Children will need to be accompanied by an appropriate adult: please book in the name of the adult. Places are limited.
