BIM Level 2 for Information Managers (formerly BIM PIM TIM)

In response to the changes and evolution of BIM, BRE Academy has reviewed the learning outcomes of our courses, and revised what was formally known as the ‘BIM PIM TIM’ course in to a more consolidated one day course which delivers the pertinent information professionals need to know to achieve BIM Level 2.

NOTE: A pre-requisite for certification: you must have first completed either the BIM Level 2 Fundamentals classroom course or BIM Essentials on-line course.

The BRE BIM - Information Management course builds upon the BRE BIM Essentials course and further informs on the ‘Information Management’ roles & responsibilities, standards, methods and procedures that define the international phenomenon that has become known as “BIM Level 2”.

This new on-line course is the second in the series and is equivalent to 12 hours learning. Successful completion of this ‘Information Management’ course will provide you with eligibility to apply for professional BIM certification with the BRE depending upon the experience and roles undertaken.

The course contains seven modules, allowing you to work through them to gain a practical working understanding of the management of information within the BIM Level 2 process.

On completion of the course there is a multiple choice on-line test. Successful completion of this test will provide eligibility to apply to become a BRE BIM certified practitioner.

Intended audience

This course is suitable for professionals who will be required to manage or contribute to the BIM process. But is specifically aimed at those who undertake either project or task specific information management roles.
