What does the exam qualify me in?
This exam will upgrade your current UK BREEAM assessor qualification to include the following building types: Retail, Offices, Industrial, Healthcare and Education, Multi-Residential and BREEAM Other Buildings. To become licensed, assessors are required to hold professional indemnity insurance. For more information please see our FAQ page.
This is for UK assessments only.
This scheme uses calculation tools which run in MS Excel with macros. Macintosh computers are unable to use this function and you will need access to a PC to complete assessments.
What is the format of the exam?
The exam consists of multiple choice questions. The duration is 120 minutes.
Please be aware that this qualification no longer requires completion of a test assessment and as such the examination is much more stringent than any previous BREEAM exam you will have undertaken.
For admission to the examination you must present acceptable photo identification (ID). This may be either your passport, driving licence or EU ID card. Please note that without photo ID you will not be permitted to undertake the examination.
Please allow enough time between booking this examination and the examination date to be able to complete the preparation material which will be supplied to you once you have booked.
BREEAM exam day programme:
09:30 - 09:45 Arrival: tea and coffee.
10:00 - 12:00 Examination.
Please note these timings could change on the day and delegates should not arrange travel which requires them to leave the venue before 13:00.
Please note that once qualified, to offer and carryout BREEAM assessments through to certification you or your organisation must hold the relevant BREEAM licence. To become licensed, all assessors/assessor organisations are required to hold a minimum level of professional indemnity insurance. Furthermore, depending on the scheme chosen, there may be an annual fee payable to BRE Global to hold the required BREEAM licence. For more information please see our FAQ page or contact us at email@example.com
