SES is first MEP company to achieve BRE BIM certification
SES Engineering Services (SES) has become the first mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor (MEP) to achieve BRE BIM Level 2 Business Certification one month ahead of the government’s public sector project compliance deadline.
A specialist in off-site manufacture, SES has been an early adopter of BIM, using 3D modelling on projects for over 15 years and embedding data into models since 2010.
As strong proponents of process efficiency in construction, SES see BIM and it’s integrational benefits as key to driving continuous improvement in the delivery of MEP services which can be challenging and complex.
SES is very proud of becoming the first MEP specialist contractor to achieve Level 2 certification. It supports the SES brand, our strategy and our reputation for technical authority. SES will be awarded their certificate today at Ecobuild, the leading UK exhibition and conference for the construction and energy market.

BRE Global BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification scheme assesses a business, based at a single location relating to the BIM policy and capability as defined within PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 91 as well as assessing the ability of the business to meet the requirements of an employer to carry out a BIM capability assessment.
