Advanced Demolition, Deconstruction and Resource Efficiency - This event has already finished

Policy, innovation and technology at your fingertips - A two day conference and exhibition supported by WRAP, IDE and NFDC

28 February - 1 March 2006 - Birmingham

Details :

Increasing waste management concerns,  more stringent legislation and tighter profit margins mean that greater demands are being placed on the construction sector to make more efficient use of resources. Now, more than ever, significant cost savings and performance improvements can be achieved by both clients and the whole supply chain through more efficient waste recovery, especially in demolition and refurbishment.

BRE is staging this major 2 day conference and exhibition on the 28 February and 1 March 2006 in Birmingham to highlight the latest policy developments and technological innovations for resource efficiency at both national and regional levels. These two days will review the policy drivers, present case studies and provide practical tools and techniques.

The event will provide a unique opportunity to learn from experts on new techniques enabling better demotion waste recovery, how savings can be made, understanding recent legislation, policy and guidance and how this may affect you and the benefits and opportunities for greater resource efficiency. It will be of interest to developers, clients, planners, designers, contractors, the reclamation and recycling industries and others.
