The BRE Group Annual Conference 2012 theme is ‘Retrofitting the Future' and the conference will explore the issues around achieving the best carbon and financial returns for the refurbishment of our existing buildings and homes. Our speakers will be selected to represent the absolute pinnacle of knowledge in these key areas.

The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and the event concludes with refreshments and an opportunity to network with peers and colleagues.

The BRE Trust Research Conference is an annual showcase of the findings and outputs from a suite of specific projects support by the Trust. This research brings scientific rigour to the questions that confront government and industry on the impact of buildings on people and the environment and tests the performance of innovative solutions that are being adopted. The presentations provide an opportunity for the lead researchers to share and discuss their findings with an invited audience from a broad representation of stakeholders, industry and academia from the built environment.
