COSHH and DSEAR – Keeping you and others safe at work when using substances which can cause you harm or cause fire or explosion.The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 and the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) 2002 are crucial to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Event programme
This course assists you to identify substances that pose risks, helps you understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), provides guidance when preparing risk assessments and COSHH assessments, explains labelling and zoning, and explains the hierarchy of controls necessary to avoid or minimise exposure to substances that may cause you and others harm or cause fire or explosion.
The course is delivered on-line for learning at your computer and has an award of 2 hour CPD. The course concludes with a multiple choice assessment.
Once booked, you have 3 months to complete the module.
