East Midlands innovation: Innovation in renewable technologies - This event has already finished

Free interactive breakfast briefing - opportunity to access funding

9 February 2010 - National Space Centre, Leicester

Details :

This event is aimed at organisations in the East Midlands region with an interest in the manufacture or installation of Renewable and Low Carbon Technologies, specifically the funding and support services available for companies seeking to innovate.  The event will be of interest to property developers/housebuilders, manufacturers, installers and electrical and heating contractors seeking to diversify.

Environmental concerns and associated legislative pressure have resulted in a considerable surge in the uptake of Microgeneration and Low Carbon Technologies, particularly in view of the Government's recent commitment to an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2050.

The rapidly increasing demand for Microgeneration and Low Carbon Technologies poses considerable opportunities for manufacturers and installers (both present and potential).  The satisfaction of this demand will require considerable innovation in both product development and installation processes.

Why you should attend:

  • To learn more about renewable technologies
  • Identify which systems might work best for your projects
  • Ask those fundamental questions and to network with peers
  • To find out where to go for further information and advice
