Low Carbon Building Programme Phase 2 Extended (LCBP2E) - This event has already finished

FREE half-day seminar

1 December 2009 - The Angel Hotel, Cardiff

Details :
You could be among those eligible to apply for grants of up to £200,000 for obtaining and installing renewable technologies - solar, wind, ground source heat pump and biomass.

As this funding is available for a finite period, public sector building owners and managers are being encouraged to find out more about the grants scheme to avoid missing this opportunity to reduce your buildings' carbon emissions and energy bills.

The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the Building Research Establishment (BRE) are hosting a series of regional events across the UK, promoting the extensive grant funding available under Phase 2E of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP2E).

This funding can be used for the supply and installation of any combination of the following Microgeneration technologies:

  • Solar thermal hot water
  • Heat pumps
  • Automated wood pellet stoves
  • Wood fuelled boiler systems
  • Micro hydro turbines
  • Solar photovoltaics
  • Wind turbines

These events will give you a unique opportunity to find out about the application process, the microgeneration technologies involved, and their installation, energy output and potential for reducing carbon emissions and energy bills. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the upcoming Feed Tariffs, due come in to play on April 2010*, how these will work and what opportunities these could provide to your business.

*Feed Tariffs not applicable to Northern Ireland.
