Water in a Changing Climate - This event has already finished
Joint half day event - MacFarlane Wilder/BRE/KCA Architects
15 October 2008 - BRE, Watford

With emerging legislation on development in areas at risk of flooding and mandatory Flood Risk Assessments on development sites combined with the Code for Sustainable Homes and a possible code for commercial buildings placing emphasis on low consumption, harvesting and SUDS, there has never been a better time to review the implications of water management in design.
Water in a Changing Climate will provide an insight into opportunities for development in areas at risk from flooding, discuss the implications of new codes of practice and illustrate using case studies the cost benefits of adopting sustainable practices in rainwater management.
