Fire Health Check - This event has already finished

A one day conference to explore the need for up to date fire strategies, highlight the changes to Part K and discuss cases studies on fire safety design for hospitals.

8 July 2008 - BRE Watford

Details :

The recent incident at the Royal Marsden Hospital reminds us all of the major potential threat that fire poses to the lives and health of everyone, particularly patients.  Hospitals and healthcare premises should have fire safety strategies based on avoiding fire, rapid detection and progressive evacuation.  This one day conference will explore the need to assess and review these fire strategies, highlight the changes to Part K: Guidance on fire risk assessment in complex healthcare premises and will discuss the implications of the investigation of healthcare fires.

This one day conference will give you the opportunity to hear from the Department of Health and BRE Global experts on today's fire safety issues for hospitals.
