Sustainability is no longer an issue that the construction industry can ignore. Both the government and the marketplace are demanding a more sustainable approach to the use of resources and the industry is having to get to grips with the challenge of answering this call.

This free BRE seminar, delivered by BRE's BREEAM Team, will provide an overview of sustainable development and a thorough introduction to BREEAM and EcoHomes and demonstrate how these environmental assessment methods can help to meet sustainability targets.

Programme :

The seminar will run from 13:30 - 17:00

The seminar will include:

  • The role of BREEAM and EcoHomes
  • The principles of the BREEAM and EcoHomes methods
  • Workshops focusing on housing and offices
  • An overview of the environmental assessment methods
  • Details of current and future BREEAM and EcoHomes mandates
  • Information on how to become a licensed assessor

All candidates will receive a CPD certificate for 3 hours.
