This will be describes as thermal conductivity (W/m K), U-Value (W/m2K), or thermal resistance (R-Value) (m2 K/W). These product values quoted should be certified by a third party and have the relevant supporting documentation available.
Voluntary energy data for products will include additional parameters such as density (kg/m3), porosity (-), specific heat capacity (kJ/kg K), vapour resistance factor (-), and embodies energy (-). These voluntary product values do not require third party certification for inclusion in the database. Consequently, these values should be checked with the manufacturer to ensure accuracy.
Voluntary environmental data for products will include a statement of its environmental performance.
