Building a better world

BRE Annual Conference 2009
Globalisation ... meeting the world's needs

The 2009 BRE Annual Conference takes place in London on 19 May.

Global markets are now an ever-present factor in the planning and decision taking of business. As the impact of turbulence in financial markets continues to wash through the economy, businesses need to be increasingly flexible and ambitious in the markets in which they wish to succeed; including diversifying away from previously safer domestic markets to more challenging global ones.

Speakers:

  • The event will be chaired by Sir Neville Simms, currently Chairman of International Power, and also Chairman of the BRE Trust
  • David Mackay, Professor, Physics Dept, University of Cambridge.
  • Richard Gillies, Sustainable Development, Marks & Spencer.
  • Patrick Bellew, Founding Director, atelier ten

The BRE Annual Conference is an invitation-only event, with invites sent to a hand-picked list of representatives from the leading players in the built environment sector. If you feel you should be included in our list, please drop an e-mail to BRE events: events@bre.co.uk
