This guide has been developed to enable companies throughout the composites sector to make well-informed decisions about the likely environmental benefits of using crop-based materials without the cost and time requirements of conducting detailed life-cycle impact studies.
The tool has been designed to give an indication of how the environmental impact of a composite part changes as a function of the types and quantities of the fibres and matrices used in a composite structure, as well as the manufacturing route chosen.
Log in to your user area by clicking on the User Home Page, or begin by directly launching the Decision Tree tool. You will require a BRE website registration in order to save your results.
