Training and Certification Schemes for Approved Certifiers of Building Design for Scotland Domestic and Non-Domestic

BRE is a scheme provider for the Energy Certification of Domestic and Non Domestic (commercial) Buildings in Scotland. Both Schemes are fully approved by the Building Standards Division of the Scottish Government. The BRE Schemes are a fast track mechanism to address the specific Mandatory Functional Standards of the Building Regulations (Scotland), Section 6 Energy.

Important ACD News

With effect from 1st October 2010 the new Scottish Building Regulations came into force.

Please ensure that any ACD project that you plan to certify is compliant with these standards. As an ACD it is your responsibility to ensure that you can evidence CPD training approved by the Schemes to show that you are competent to certify to these new regulations. If you are in any doubt, please contact the ACD Scheme Manager for further guidance.
