BRE Global - Home Inspector Certification Scheme Introduction
Overview of Scheme
The BRE Global Home Inspector Certification Scheme is open to all Home Inspectors no matter where they obtained their qualifications.
The BRE Global Home Inspectors Certification Scheme is the home of the independent Home Inspector. It provides the quality framework that is needed which, together with technical support from BRE specialists, to allows Home Inspectors to operate independently as Residential Property Surveyors in an open market.
Through the BRE Global Scheme, members can access the report form for the Home Condition Survey (HCS). This is an objective report based on factual information about the condition and construction of the property at the time of inspection. The HCS provides the home buyer with an independent report to enable them to make informed decisions about the property under consideration.
The Certification Scheme gives a framework of Review, Audit, Qualifications, Insurance and ongoing competence to give customers confidence and assurance.
