BRE Global Accreditation Scheme for Energy Assessors for newly constructed dwellings
Vocational qualification route
Awarding Bodies are currently developing Vocationally Related Qualifications based on the National Occupational Standards and BRE Training will extend its current Assessment Centre approval to include the new award as soon as it is available. Although the final version of the National Occupational Standards and the associated Diploma requirements are yet to be released we have sufficient information to be able to specify our training programme. Details of training and assessment programmes and associated fees are available at www.bre.co.uk/trainingThe qualification (which will be set at NVQ Level 3) is likely to be of particular interest to Domestic Energy Assessors and Home Inspectors who are looking to extend their skills into the new dwellings sector.
