Step 1 of 3: Passivhaus Certification Scheme On-line Application

Before you begin your online application please have scanned/electronic copies of the following items (please see list below) and put them in a zip file ready to upload as part of your application:

  • A correctly certified copy of evidence of passing the CEPH exam, If you have not yet qualified, please see details of training here.
  • A correctly certified copy of your passport or photo ID driving licence.
  • A passport style photograph (no more than three years old) to issue your ID card upon membership of the scheme.
  • Copies of any documents relating to any matter disclosed within Scheme Requirements (Fit and Proper Person) section of this application form.

You will also be asked for payment at the final stage of the application, the Application fee is: £100+VAT plus the first year's annual membership fee at £250+VAT

  1. Create a folder: right click->'New'->'Folder'->enter a name for the folder
  2. Put all the files you wish to upload into the folder you have created
  3. Highlight all of the files using the left mouse button
  4.  Right-click on the files you have highlighted, select winzip, select ‘add to zip file'
  5. A box will open up with ‘Add to archive' as the first line and will then show the location of the files you are trying to zip, add a filename (eg ‘application) to the end of the folder location and then click ‘add'. Now click Ok and close the winzip box.
  6. The Zip file should now have been created in the folder you created in step 1, please upload this when you are prompted during your application.

Failure to do so or failure to disclose any relevant information will prejudice the application for membership of the Scheme and may lead to disciplinary action in the future, which could result in withdrawal of membership.
